At Creators International School we welcome applications from students from across the globe and this is reflected in the diversity of our student and staff body. International students can apply to day schooling from Year 3 and to boarding from Year 7.
There is no separate application process for international applicants. Candidates must comply with the same deadlines as locally based candidates and meet our admission requirements. Please also see the additional requirements for international students regarding language, guardianship and visa requirements below.
As an international student entering Year 9 or higher, you’ll have the chance to join our diverse boarding community. Our nurturing and enriching boarding program offers a ‘home away from home', where you’ll immerse yourself in exciting boarding life. You will have the chance to explore the village of Benahavís and the beautiful natural areas surrounding it. International students get to experience the vibrant culture of Malaga and the broader region of southern Spain where the weather is as beautiful as the people!
Proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking, is expected as it is the primary medium of teaching, learning, and communication. Our curriculum is delivered at a brisk pace, and students who are not adept in English may find it challenging to keep up with their peers. Admission is open to students who need additional language assistance, contingent on the availability of the necessary support resources at the time of admission. Our capacity to accommodate students requiring such support is limited, and once this limit is reached, further admissions will be paused until space becomes available again.
It is mandatory for all students with parents residing abroad to have a local guardian. Overseas candidates are required to provide the details of their proposed guardian, including the name, address, and the nature of their relationship. Families unable to nominate a guardian have the option to utilize our professional guardian service for a fee. This service includes support in obtaining a visa and residency, notarization of documents, and general support and advice for students.
Non-EU, non-EEA, and non-Swiss nationals intending to study in Spain need a student visa. You will need to apply for both a student visa and a student residence card. Our admissions staff will provide guidance on how to go about applying for these.
